Ornellaia

Ornellaia is one of the most famous Super Tuscans in the world. Born in Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, this Bolgheri DOC Superiore blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in a Mediterranean style of rare harmony.

The wine combines the opulence of ripe fruit — black cherry, plum, sweet spices — with notes of blond tobacco, garrigue and chocolate, velvety tannins and a saline finish. Powerful and refined, it ages effortlessly for 15 to 30 years.
