Primeurs

Buying en primeur means acquiring a Bordeaux wine while it is still in barrel, roughly two years before bottling and delivery.

The benefit is twofold: accessing great growths at the release price, often lower than after bottling, and securing rare bottles in highly sought-after vintages, particularly in large formats.

Each campaign takes place in the spring following the harvest, after the Bordeaux trade tastings. We keep you informed as soon as allocations open, and your bottles are delivered throughout Switzerland once released from the château.
