Château Le Pin

Château Le Pin is one of the rarest and most confidential wines of Bordeaux. This Pomerol micro-estate, owned by the Thienpont family, covers only about 2.7 hectares planted almost exclusively with Merlot.

With barely a few thousand bottles produced each year, Le Pin has become a cult wine, regularly compared to Petrus. It offers a silky, opulent texture, aromas of candied dark fruit, sweet spices, mocha and violet, with a Burgundian elegance rare in Bordeaux.

Pairings: beef fillet, roast duck, truffle dishes. Storage: lying down, 12–14 °C. Ageing potential of 20 to 40 years. Careful, insured delivery throughout Switzerland.
