Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Second Growth of Saint-Julien, takes its name from the 'beautiful pebbles' of its gravel terroir overlooking the Gironde. It is the archetype of Saint-Julien: balance, distinction and consistency.
The wine unfolds blackcurrant, cedar, pencil lead and dark fruit, with a refined texture and chiselled tannins. Elegant and deep, it ages for 15 to 35 years.
Pairings: lamb, rib steak, mature cheeses. Storage: lying down, 12–14 °C. Insured delivery throughout Switzerland.
