Château Latour, First Growth of the 1855 classification, is one of the monuments of Pauillac. Its historic heart, the Enclos, gives birth to a great Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated wine renowned for its exceptional consistency, vintage after vintage.
Latour impresses with its monumental structure: deep dark fruit, notes of cedar, leather and damp earth, powerful and pedigreed tannins. It is the archetype of the very long-ageing wine, capable of crossing half a century while gaining in complexity.
Pairings: rib of beef, furred game, slow-cooked lamb. Storage: lying down, 12–14 °C. Careful, insured delivery throughout Switzerland.
